Human-AI Technology Lab at UVA

Deeksha is a PhD student at the University of Virginia. She earned her Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from VNR VJIET in Hyderabad, India, where she graduated first class with distinction. She then worked as a guidewire application developer for two years before continuing to earn her master’s degree in computer science from UVa. Her work focuses on Human–AI trust modeling, exploring Human–AI decision-making frameworks by simulating them in custom environments, health data visualization, and ML modeling in healthcare.

Fun fact: Deeksha is well known within the Lab for her prolific rate of sending Slack messages between the hours of midnight and 5am. 💤
